Saudi Masam Project Removes Nearly 1,000 Explosive Devices in Yemen
In a heroic effort, members of Saudi Arabia’s Masam Project successfully dismantled 989 explosive devices scattered across various regions of war-torn Yemen during the third week of July. The Saudi Press Agency delivered this groundbreaking news on Sunday, shedding light on the dangerous situation in the country.
Among the devices disarmed were five anti-personnel mines, 46 anti-tank mines, 935 unexploded ordnances, and three explosive devices. These deadly weapons posed a significant threat to the lives of innocent civilians in Yemen.
Since the beginning of July, the Masam Project has tirelessly worked to clear a total of 2,840 mines in Yemen, demonstrating their commitment to restoring peace and safety in the region. Over the course of their operations, an astounding 451,908 explosive devices have been removed, marking a major victory in the fight against terrorism and violence.
