Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council meets with Ambassador of Uzbekistan
In a meeting held in Riyadh, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, welcomed the newly appointed Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Kingdom, Nodirjon Turgunov.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed the existing ties between the GCC and Uzbekistan, as well as the relations between the GCC and Central Asia, with a focus on ways to strengthen them, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
In addition, they exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments, along with political issues of mutual concern.
Al-Budaiwi expressed his best wishes for the ambassador’s success in his new role.
