Saudi Arabia Takes Center Stage at G20 Labor and Employment Minister’s Meeting in Brazil

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi was front and center at the recent G20 Labor and Employment Ministers’ Meeting in Fortaleza, Brazil. The event, which took place from July 25-26, brought together top officials from G20 member states, invited countries, international and regional organizations, and representatives from civil society.

During the meeting, Al-Rajhi showcased Saudi Arabia’s proactive approach and the profound impact of Vision 2030 on the development of the national workforce. He outlined the Kingdom’s strategic focus on instilling values, nurturing essential and future-oriented skills, promoting knowledge advancement, and creating a robust labor market that guarantees decent work opportunities for all.

The minister reiterated Saudi Arabia’s commitment to enhancing labor standards and conditions, including robust social security measures. He underscored the significance of empowering individuals through qualification programs, training initiatives, and increased employment prospects.
