Shocking Royal Decree: Saudi Cabinet Meeting Without King or Crown Prince!

Saudi Arabia’s King Salman issues royal decree allowing Cabinet to convene without royal presence

In a groundbreaking move, King Salman of Saudi Arabia has issued a royal decree that empowers the Cabinet to convene even in his absence or that of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. This decree, reported by the Saudi Press Agency on Thursday, marks a significant shift in the country’s governance structure.

According to the decree, in the event that neither the king nor the crown prince or their deputies are available to chair the Cabinet meeting, the responsibility will fall to the eldest member of the cabinet who is a direct descendant of the Kingdom’s founder, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Faisal Al-Saud.

Furthermore, any decisions made during these meetings will be officially signed by the appointed chairman, ensuring continuity and efficiency in the governance process.
