Breaking News: Saudi Arabia’s Bold Move to Bring Hamas and Israel to the Negotiating Table!

Saudi Arabia Supports Efforts to Resume Gaza Ceasefire Negotiations

In a statement released on Friday, Saudi Arabia expressed its support for the United States, Egypt, and Qatar’s efforts to bring Israel and Hamas back to the negotiating table for Gaza ceasefire talks on Aug. 15.

The Kingdom emphasized its backing for President Joe Biden, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani’s ongoing endeavors to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza and address the worsening humanitarian crisis in the region.

Saudi Arabia underscored the urgent need to halt the violence, alleviate the suffering of civilians, and work towards ending the Israeli occupation to establish peace and security while ensuring the Palestinian people’s legitimate rights are upheld.

The joint statement issued by the US, Egypt, and Qatar on Thursday called for immediate action to provide relief to the people of Gaza and secure the release of hostages and detainees.

“It is imperative to finalize the ceasefire and hostage release agreement without delay. Our teams have worked tirelessly to craft a framework agreement, with only implementation details remaining,” the statement read.

The mediators emphasized the importance of resuming discussions on Aug. 15 in Doha or Cairo to bridge the remaining gaps and kickstart the implementation of the agreement without any further delays.
