Red Sea Film Foundation-supported film selected for Toronto International Film Festival
DUBAI: The Red Sea Film Foundation-supported film “Sudan, Remember Us,” directed by Hind Meddeb, has been chosen to be featured in the Toronto International Film Festival’s Docs section, as announced by the festival this week.
The documentary provides a glimpse into the events that unfolded in Khartoum during the spring of 2019, capturing the defiance of young Sudanese activists following the overthrow of the dictatorship and the subsequent military crackdown.
The Toronto International Film Festival is scheduled to take place from Sept. 5 to 15, with the full schedule set to be unveiled on Aug. 13.
