Life-changing support for Syrian and Sudanese refugees by KSrelief

Saudi Aid Reaches Syrian Refugees and Displaced People in Sudan

In a display of humanitarian efforts, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has extended critical services to Syrian refugees in Jordan and displaced individuals in Sudan, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.

Medical Care for Syrian Refugees in Jordan

During the third week of July, KSrelief provided medical assistance to 2,351 patients at the Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan. General medical clinics attended to 697 patients, while 115 individuals received treatment at the internal medicine clinic. The pediatric clinic catered to 240 children, and the emergency department saw 254 patients. Other clinics, including dental, gynaecology, ear-nose-throat, eye, cardiology, and diagnostic radiology, also provided services to those in need.

Furthermore, laboratory tests and X-rays were conducted, vaccines administered, chronic disease medications distributed, health education offered, and prescriptions dispensed to ensure comprehensive care for the patients.

Aid Distribution in Sudan

In Sudan, KSrelief distributed 2,110 shelter kits to over 12,000 people, and 432 personal hygiene kits to 2,484 vulnerable and displaced families. This aid aims to alleviate the hardships faced by those affected by displacement in the region.
