Exclusive: AlUla Royal Commission’s groundbreaking deal with Naples Museum!

AlUla Strikes Cultural Gold with New Partnership

AlUla has hit a cultural jackpot with the recent signing of a strategic partnership agreement between the Royal Commission for AlUla and the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. This groundbreaking agreement will bring a collection of ancient artifacts to the Kingdom and AlUla for the very first time.

The National Archaeological Museum of Naples is the latest addition to the commission’s prestigious network of cultural partners. This museum, established in 1777, is a treasure trove of European history, housing Roman and Greek statues, bronze pieces, mosaics, and other priceless works of art in pristine condition.

With this partnership, a selection of artifacts from Naples will be transported to AlUla in the northwest of the Arabian Peninsula. These masterpieces will be showcased during the Ancient Kingdoms Festival 2024, a cultural extravaganza taking place from Nov. 7 to 30.

Visitors to the exhibition can expect to see 15 stunning masterpieces from historic cities like Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Rome. Additionally, the AlUla World Archaeology Symposium will be held during the festival, offering attendees a unique opportunity to delve deeper into the shared history of AlUla spanning over 20,000 years.
