King Salman Global Academy Launches Arabic Language Month in Thailand
The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language has kicked off Arabic Language Month in Thailand, joining forces with Krirk University in Bangkok and Prince of Songkla University in Hat Yai, southern Thailand.
This initiative is a robust program focused on enhancing Arabic language curricula, boosting teacher performance, shining a spotlight on the Arabic language, and showcasing Saudi Arabia’s efforts in this area, as per the Saudi Press Agency.
Running until Nov. 29, the event encompasses a wide array of activities, including a scientific symposium, two panel discussions, and four courses tailored to enhance the teaching skills of Arabic teachers for non-native speakers, with a special emphasis on contemporary teaching approaches.
The King Salman academy has previously organized Arabic Language Month programs in various countries such as Indonesia, China, India, France, and Brazil.
Just last month, the academy held Arabic Language Month in France, featuring educational activities aimed at refining Arabic curricula. This included visits and meetings with French educational institutions offering Arabic programs and centers dedicated to teaching and promoting the Arabic language.
