Rainy Weather Forecast Across Saudi Arabia
The General Directorate of Civil Defense has issued a warning for thunderstorms in multiple regions of the Kingdom lasting until Sunday.
In Makkah region, there are predictions of light to moderate rain showers that may result in flash floods, hail, and gusty winds stirring up dust, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency. Meanwhile, Riyadh region is expected to receive moderate to heavy rainfall.
Asir and Jazan regions will also be impacted by moderate to heavy showers, with Qassim, Eastern, and Baha regions experiencing moderate rain. Light rain is forecasted for Madinah and Najran regions.
The Civil Defense Directorate strongly advises the public to exercise caution, avoid flood-prone areas, and refrain from swimming in flooded zones.
