Eva Longoria Joins All-Star Lineup at Red Sea International Film Festival
The Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah is gearing up to be a star-studded event this year, with Hollywood actress Eva Longoria adding her name to the list of speakers. The festival, set to take place from Dec. 5-14 in Culture Square in Al-Balad, will also feature Egyptian star Mona Zaki, Oscar winner Viola Davis, and renowned filmmaker Spike Lee as head of the jury.
But that’s not all – the lineup of speakers is truly impressive this year, with the likes of filmmaker Michael Mann, Egyptian writer and director Mohamed Samy, and Turkish stars Engin Altan Düzyatan and Nurgül Yeşilçay all set to make appearances. Indian superstars Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan will also be joining the festival.
And for those looking to discover new talent, Hollywood star Andrew Garfield will be delivering a talk as part of the festival’s Souk Talents program. With 120 films from 81 countries being showcased at the new venue, attendees can expect a truly international cinematic experience. Previous editions were held at the city’s Ritz-Carlton hotel, but this year’s festival will take place in five purpose-built cinemas and a large auditorium, where back-to-back screenings and In Conversation panels with celebrities will keep audiences entertained.
