Billboard Arabia Music Awards Set to Honor Top Artists in Inaugural Event
The first-ever Billboard Arabia Music Awards is scheduled to take place on Dec. 11 at the King Fahad Cultural Centre in Dubai as part of the Riyadh Music Week. Organizers have announced that the event will feature awards in over 40 categories.
Some of the categories include Top Artist, Song of the Year, Best in Dialect Charts, and Top New Artist of the Year.
Leading Nominations and Stellar Lineup at the Awards
With a total of 210 nominations and 96 artists covering various categories, Al Shami leads the nomination count with 14 nods. Notable artists like Assala Nasri, Ahmad Saad, Tamer Ashour, Elissa, Dystinct, Ayed, and Tul8te are also among the nominees.
The event will feature musical performances by renowned artists such as Elissa, Dystinct, Ahmed Saad, Ayed, and Tul8te, among others.
Celebrating Regional Talent and Chart-Topping Hits
The Billboard Arabia Music Awards aim to celebrate both established and emerging talents in the region. The event will recognize songs that have gained popularity on the Billboard Arabia charts, including the “100 Artists” and “Hot 100” charts, as well as genre-specific and dialect-specific charts.

Billboard Arabia and the Billboard Arabia Music Awards are the result of a partnership between SRMG and Billboard. The live events market in Saudi Arabia is expected to exceed $1 billion by 2025, with streaming platforms in the region experiencing significant growth.
Mike Van, the president of Billboard, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that the awards provide a platform for local artists to showcase their talent on a global stage and accelerate their careers.
Rami Zeidan, the managing director of Billboard Arabia, described the event as historic and emphasized the commitment to empowering the next generation of musical talent in the MENA region.
He highlighted the region’s rapid growth in the music industry and its growing influence on the global music scene.
