Saudi Arabia Hosts Fourth Edition of Hajj Conference and Exhibition
Riyadh: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is currently hosting the fourth edition of the Hajj Conference and Exhibition in Jeddah from Jan. 13-16, under the esteemed patronage of King Salman.
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in collaboration with the Pilgrim Experience Program, is set to convene a prestigious conference that will bring together ministers, ambassadors, academics, experts, diplomats, and representatives from both private and public institutions spanning 87 countries.
The primary goal of the conference is to elevate the standard of services provided to Muslim pilgrims, facilitate an exchange of invaluable experiences, and cultivate a culture of competitiveness and transparency among companies operating in Hajj affairs in the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
With a lineup of over 100 distinguished speakers, 47 engaging panel discussions, and 50 insightful workshops, the conference will delve into the challenges of enhancing Hajj services and explore innovative projects in the pilgrimage sector, as highlighted by SPA.
In conjunction with the conference, a grand exhibition covering 50,000 square meters in Jeddah will showcase 280 exhibitors from various sectors, featuring cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence aimed at improving Hajj experiences.
The previous edition of the conference witnessed the signing of 202 cooperation agreements to enhance Hajj services and drew over 100,000 visitors from 87 countries.
