Riyadh Hosts International Summit for Exhibitions and Conferences
Prepare for an influx of 1,000 industry experts from 73 countries as they descend upon the first edition of the International Summit for Exhibitions and Conferences, running from Dec. 15-17.
Located at Mohammed Bin Salman Nonprofit City and organized by the Saudi Conventions and Exhibitions General Authority, this three-day event will delve into investment opportunities within the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions sector in Saudi Arabia, attracting numerous local businesses and global event organizers.
Chairman of SCEGA, Fahd Al-Rasheed, expressed his optimism about the future of the MICE sector in Saudi Arabia, crediting Vision 2030 as the driving force behind its growth.
With over 1,000 initiatives in motion, Al-Rasheed emphasized the importance of partnerships in achieving the goals set forth by Vision 2030 and the significant infrastructure developments taking place across the country.
Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb outlined the impact of Vision 2030 on the MICE sector, highlighting its role in transforming the Kingdom’s competitiveness and driving qualitative growth.
Arab News Editor-in-Chief Faisal Abbas stressed the importance of patience in industry development, dispelling misconceptions about the Kingdom and advocating for continuous progress within the MICE sector.
Prominent figures in the industry, such as Lord Stephen Carter and Brian Britton, will share their insights at the summit, alongside workshops showcasing cutting-edge technologies and discussions with government leaders.
