Riyadh: KSrelief Extends Helping Hand to Thousands in Kosovo and Sudan
The Kingdom’s aid organization, KSrelief, continues to make a difference by distributing food aid to more than 9,600 individuals in Kosovo and Sudan, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency on Tuesday.
A Beacon of Hope in Sudan
In Sudan, KSrelief delivered 1,799 food parcels to displaced families in White Nile State and 740 parcels to vulnerable individuals in River Nile State. This marks the second phase of KSrelief’s crucial food aid efforts in the war-torn nation, providing much-needed relief to communities in need.
Spreading Kindness in Kosovo
Meanwhile, KSrelief also reached out to 350 families in Kosovo’s Hani i Elezit municipality as part of the third phase of the “Etaam” food basket project for 2024. This initiative, carried out every Ramadan, aims to support people in need globally, showcasing the organization’s commitment to making a positive impact.
Empowering Communities in Yemen
In Yemen’s Al-Mahrah governorate, KSrelief is gearing up to assist 50 families who have lost their primary breadwinner by providing training in various skills such as hairdressing, sewing, henna art, embroidery, as well as perfume and sweets production. The goal is to help a total of 440 families achieve self-sufficiency and independence.
Investing in the Future
Additionally, KSrelief has plans to support 1,300 orphans in their educational pursuits, emphasizing the importance of investing in the next generation and providing opportunities for a brighter future.
