Zaina Al-Hejin: Leading Communication at Boeing Saudi Arabia
Zaina Al-Hejin took on the role of head of communication at Boeing Saudi Arabia in May 2023, bringing with her a wealth of experience and expertise in strategic communication.
In her current position, Al-Hejin is tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive strategic communication plan, providing support to Boeing executives, and managing the company’s global engagement communication efforts in Saudi Arabia.
Before assuming this role, Al-Hejin served as Boeing’s associate director for government relations from 2019 to 2023. During this time, she played a key role in leading Boeing’s Global Engagement initiatives, working closely with local non-profit organizations and communities in Saudi Arabia to strengthen partnerships and create new opportunities for the company.
Prior to her tenure at Boeing, Al-Hejin held the position of senior project manager at the Misk Foundation from 2017 to 2019. In this role, she was responsible for developing outreach strategies that connected talented individuals with educational institutions, as well as overseeing events for the non-profit organization.
Al-Hejin also brings valuable experience from her time as a senior project associate at the Ministry of Labour, where she played a crucial role in developing business plans and overseeing implementation processes.
With a certification from the Project Management Institute and three years of research experience at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh, Al-Hejin is well-equipped to handle the demands of her current role.
Al-Hejin’s academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baruch College in New York, a master’s degree in information technology, management, and organizational change from Lancaster University in the UK, and a doctorate in work, organization, and technology, which she obtained in 2013.
