Thai Parliament Speaker Praises Saudi Arabia’s Role in Serving Islam and Muslims
In a heartfelt tribute, the speaker of the Thai parliament, Wan Muhamad Noor Matha, commended Saudi Arabia for its significant contributions to Islam and Muslims on a global scale.
Not only does the Kingdom play a major role in serving Islam, but it also actively participates in global development efforts, providing crucial humanitarian aid and charitable donations to those in need.
Matha’s praise was delivered during a Ramadan iftar banquet held by the religious attache at the Saudi embassy in Bangkok, Thailand. The event was attended by the Saudi ambassador to Thailand, Abdurahman Alsuhaibani, diplomats from Arab and Islamic nations, members of the Central Islamic Council of Thailand, and leaders of various Islamic organizations.
The Thai parliament speaker expressed his gratitude for the academic scholarships provided by Saudi Arabia to Thai students, highlighting the unwavering support of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
He also lauded the Kingdom for its charitable initiatives and contributions during the holy month of Ramadan, emphasizing that Saudi Arabia sets a remarkable example for charitable work globally through its various programs and activities.
