The Young Patrons Group: A Key Support System for the Museum

The Young Patrons Group, a vital and impactful circle, plays a key role in assisting the museum in achieving its objectives. Comprising prominent patrons and donors who advocate for arts and culture on an international scale, this group provides essential support to the institution.

Established in 1852, the Victoria and Albert Museum is the world’s largest museum dedicated to applied arts and decorative arts. As a publicly-funded institution sponsored by the UK government’s Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, it boasts a diverse collection of 4.5 million items, including 20,000 significant Islamic artifacts from the Middle East.

With an annual visitor count of at least 2 million people, the Victoria and Albert Museum continues to be a beacon of cultural heritage and artistic excellence, attracting individuals from around the globe.
