Saudi aid agency KSrelief distributes food to thousands globally
RIYADH: The Saudi aid agency KSrelief has been making a significant impact by distributing food to thousands of people around the world, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
Helping Hands in Pakistan and Bangladesh
In Pakistan, the districts of Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur in Punjab province received 925 food baskets from KSrelief, benefiting 6,475 people as part of a food security project. Meanwhile, in Bangladesh, 500 food baskets were distributed to the neediest families in the Kishoreganj district, aiding 2,500 individuals through the Etaam Ramadan food basket project.
Global Outreach in South Africa, Guinea, and Montenegro
KSrelief extended its reach to South Africa’s Ekurhuleni district with the distribution of 400 food baskets, and to the Matoto district in Guinea’s capital, Conakry, where 567 parcels benefited 3,969 people. Additionally, 300 food baskets were provided to those in need in Montenegro, benefiting 1,000 individuals.
Continued Support in Benin and Mauritania
In Benin, 600 food baskets were distributed, benefiting 3,600 individuals, while another 546 food baskets aided 3,276 people in Toujounine, Mauritania.
Global Impact of KSrelief
Since 2015, KSrelief has implemented 2,670 projects worth more than $6.5 billion in 95 countries, in partnership with 175 local, regional, and international partners. The majority of support has been directed towards Yemen, Syria, Palestine, and Somalia.
