Saudi Arabia’s Naval Forces Welcome “His Majesty the King’s Ship Hail” with Grand Ceremony

In a grand ceremony at the King Faisal Naval Base, Saudi Arabia’s naval forces welcomed “His Majesty the King’s Ship Hail” on Tuesday. The ship arrived from its manufacturing headquarters in Spain, marking a significant moment for the Kingdom’s Ministry of Defense.

Vice Admiral Fahad bin Abdullah Al-Ghofaily, the commander of the naval forces, was present at the official reception ceremony. He boarded the ship upon its arrival, conducted a thorough tour of its sections, and marveled at its modern equipment and advanced technologies before officially signing the ship’s logbook.

During the ceremony, Al-Ghofaily met with the ship’s commander and crew, commending their dedication during the training stages in Spain. He expressed his eagerness to work alongside naval forces personnel in safeguarding the Kingdom’s vital strategic interests and tackling any challenges or threats in the region, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.

Al-Ghofaily also expressed gratitude for the unwavering support provided to the armed forces by King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and Prince Khalid bin Salman, the minister of defense.

The “His Majesty the King’s Ship Hail” is the third vessel of the Sarawat Project, a project aimed at constructing five naval vessels with specialized capabilities for various combat missions, demonstrating high efficiency and effectiveness in operations.
