Saudi Air Force Gears Up for Intense Combat Drills in Greece

Royal Saudi Air Force Prepares to Join International Combat Air Exercise in Greece

In a show of strength and cooperation, the Royal Saudi Air Force is set to participate in a mixed combat air exercise at the Air Tactics Center in Greece this April. Led by Lt. Gen. Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the RSAF will join forces with several countries for this high-stakes training opportunity.

Before departure, Gen. Abdulaziz personally inspected the preparations of the participating air force group at the King Fahad Air Base in the Western Sector. The Saudi Press Agency reported on Saturday that the RSAF is gearing up to showcase its capabilities on the international stage.

Dubbed Iniochos 2024, this exercise is one of the largest in Europe and will see the RSAF deploying six Typhoon aircraft, in addition to a full complement of air, technical, and support crews. Gen. Abdulaziz emphasized the importance of this exercise in enhancing readiness levels and combat efficiency.

The primary goals of Iniochos 2024 include exchanging and acquiring experience for air, technical, and support crews, as well as training in planning and executing complex air operations involving mixed multinational forces. This exercise serves as a crucial opportunity for the RSAF to hone its skills and strengthen its partnerships on the global stage.
