Riyadh’s Souq Al-Mawsim Season Extended Due to Popular Demand
The second season of Souq Al-Mawsim in Diriyah will continue until April 11 as the demand from visitors during the holy month of Ramadan keeps growing.
Organized by the Diriyah Gate Development Authority, this event aims to showcase one of Diriyah’s traditional significant markets, engaging visitors through workshops and exciting activities, and supporting and promoting traditional crafts.
Souq Al-Mawsim is a traditional market with a modern and elegant design, serving as an important legacy for the region. This historic souq brings together local and regional merchants to trade in the heart of Diriyah.
The market is divided into 15 areas, with a collection of local brands displaying products ranging from Saudi Arabia’s delicious dishes to traditional clothes, handicrafts, essential oils, oud, and even hosting a children’s area.
The authority continues to preserve Diriyah’s heritage in a manner that aligns with its historical and cultural status, deepening the national identity of the local population of Diriyah, and expanding their knowledge of their ancestors.
