Riyadh: Prince Salman bin Sultan Launches SR5 Million Initiative to Educate Orphans in Madinah

Prince Salman bin Sultan, the Governor of Madinah, has taken a bold step by launching the “Kulluna Ahel” (We are all family) initiative to educate orphans in the region. This initiative, costing SR5 million ($1.3 million), is set to make a significant impact on the lives of orphaned children in Madinah.

Development Initiatives and Support for Orphans

The initiative, organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, includes 14 development initiatives aimed at providing a nurturing environment for orphans. The goal is to help them develop their abilities and cognitive skills, enabling them to integrate into society and enhance their quality of life.

Recognition and Appreciation

During an iftar event attended by several orphans, Prince Salman announced the initiative and handed over homes to the beneficiaries. He praised the ministry for its work, aligning with the Saudi Vision 2030 national transformation programs.

Empowering Orphans and Showcasing Talents

Activities were organized at the launch ceremony to showcase the talents of orphans benefiting from the initiative. In a speech, one of the orphans expressed gratitude to Prince Salman and the government for their support, emphasizing the initiative’s alignment with Islamic teachings.

Attendees also watched a video highlighting the ministry’s initiatives to benefit orphans. At the end of the event, the Madinah governor honored the participating orphans and supporters of the initiative.
