With a focus on streamlining the design process, the facility is anticipated to slash feasibility study times by a whopping 75 percent and system design costs by up to 50 percent.

In a bold move on the same day, the agency also announced the adoption of a cutting-edge approach to project and program management known as the Integrated Mission Lifecycle.
