Bella Hadid Returns to the Runway at Saint Laurent’s Paris Fashion Week Show
After a two-year hiatus, US Dutch Palestinian supermodel Bella Hadid graced the runway at Saint Laurent’s Paris Fashion Week show on Tuesday night. Known for her openness about battling Lyme disease and her recent foray into fragrance branding, Hadid strutted her stuff in a sharp masculine suit designed by Anthony Vaccarello, the creative head of the fashion house.
Vaccarello’s collection for Saint Laurent featured an array of masculine suits with bold shoulders and matching ties, exuding power and confidence. The models walked gracefully around an open-air runway at the fashion house’s Left Bank headquarters, sporting thick-rimmed glasses and aviator shades.
Bomber jackets added a touch of edginess to the ensembles, while chunky jewelry and sleek stilettos elevated the looks to new heights, paying homage to the iconic style of Yves Saint Laurent himself.
Midway through the show, Vaccarello introduced more feminine and bohemian pieces, including flowing skirts in paisley prints and shimmering brocade jackets adorned with floral motifs, paired with mini-skirts. The audience, which included celebrities like Lenny Kravitz, Kate Moss, and Gwyneth Paltrow, cheered as the models showcased the designer’s versatile collection.
The late-night show marked the second day of Paris Fashion Week, running until October 1, featuring renowned fashion labels such as Hermes, Chanel, Valentino, and Louis Vuitton under the LVMH umbrella.
