Saudi Arabia’s Social Development Bank Hosts Gamethon Event to Promote Financial Awareness
In a move to boost financial literacy and encourage savings, Saudi Arabia’s Social Development Bank is taking the gaming world by storm with an exciting game design challenge.
Dubbed as Gamethon, the event is set to take place at Riyadh Boulevard from Aug. 21-23, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
This innovative challenge will bring together a diverse group of individuals including innovators, developers, designers, and programmers to create games centered around financial literacy, savings, and financial planning.
With a generous prize pool of SR100,000 ($26,600), the event aims to not only promote financial awareness but also to facilitate knowledge expansion, network building, collaboration, and to align with the Kingdom’s initiatives to support the rapidly growing gaming sector.
