Saudi Ambassador in Japan Discusses Mutual Investments with JCCME Chairman

In a high-level meeting held in Tokyo, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Japan, Dr. Ghazi Binzagr, engaged in talks with Nobuyori Kodaira, the chairman of the Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME), to explore avenues for enhancing mutual investments between the two countries.

The discussions centered around the pivotal role played by the JCCME in facilitating Japanese investments in Saudi Arabia, particularly in key sectors such as healthcare, industry, and entertainment.

Having established its regional headquarters in Riyadh back in the 1990s, the JCCME has expanded its presence in the Kingdom, setting up an office in Dammam equipped with an investment desk. Additionally, a water desk has been inaugurated in Jeddah to further support investment activities.

In a bid to align with the objectives of the Saudi-Japan Vision 2030, the JCCME launched an investment-promotion scheme in 2018, operating within the framework of the broader Saudi Vision 2030 plan. This initiative aims to drive collaborative efforts between the two nations towards achieving sustainable economic growth and development.
