Saudi Civil Defense Officials Increase Inspections in Madinah During Ramadan
In an effort to enhance the safety and quality of facilities for visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque and Umrah pilgrims, Saudi Civil Defense officials in Madinah have ramped up their inspections during Ramadan, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency on Friday.
The inspections aim to proactively identify and prevent any potential problems that may arise in tourist accommodations, commercial sites, and public gathering places.
Field teams have been deployed at the mosque and its courtyards, with rapid intervention teams ready in the central region to ensure the safety of visitors and pilgrims throughout the holy month.
