Tripartite Committee Enhances Defense Cooperation in Istanbul

In a recent gathering in Istanbul, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan came together for the third meeting of their tripartite committee to discuss ways to strengthen defense cooperation.

The meeting saw the attendance of top officials including Saudi Assistant Minister of Defense Talal bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi, Turkish Deputy Minister of National Defense Bilal Durdali, and Lt. Gen Mohammed Owais from Pakistan, as reported by the Defense Ministry.

Key topics of discussion included joint cooperation in defense, technology transfer and localization, and the advancement of scientific research in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030, the ministry highlighted.

Additionally, the Saudi-Turkish bilateral defense cooperation committee convened in Istanbul, showcasing the commitment to enhancing collaboration in the defense sector.
