During his visit, Alkhorayef met with key players in the manufacturing industry, including Edwin Paalvast from Philips Medical Devices and Marchel Gorselink from FrieslandCampina. Discussions revolved around potential collaborations in medical devices, localizing industries, and establishing a research and development center for dairy products in Saudi Arabia.

Alkhorayef also engaged with David Haines from Upfield to explore cooperation in consumer products and plant-based food production. The discussions aimed to contribute to food security goals and environmental sustainability efforts in both countries.

In meetings with Dutch ministers Liesje Schreinemacher and Micky Adriaansens, Alkhorayef focused on strengthening trade relations and exploring opportunities in various sectors, including manufacturing, advanced technology, and renewable energy.

Alkhorayef also discussed strategic partnerships in various sectors and the importance of geospatial information for decision-making in the Saudi economy during the Geospatial World Forum. Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information played a key role in the event, showcasing the country’s commitment to utilizing geospatial data for economic growth.
