Saudi Arabia and Egypt Strengthen Energy Cooperation

In a bold move to enhance their ties in the energy sector, Saudi Arabia and Egypt are gearing up for a significant collaboration. Top officials from both countries recently convened to explore opportunities in petroleum, gas, electricity, renewable energy, and hydrogen.

On July 21, Saudi Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, hosted a high-level meeting with Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, and Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Mahmoud Esmat. The gathering took place at the prestigious headquarters of the Saudi Energy Ministry in Riyadh.

The discussions between the ministers were comprehensive, covering a wide range of topics related to energy cooperation. The primary focus was on aligning the efforts of both nations with the shared visions of their leaderships and the aspirations of their people. This strategic move is expected to pave the way for a new era of collaboration and mutual growth in the energy sector.
