Saudi Arabia and North Macedonia Strengthen Cooperation on Islamic Affairs
In a groundbreaking move, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and North Macedonia have come together to sign an agreement aimed at enhancing collaboration on Islamic affairs, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency on Monday.
The agreement was formally sealed by Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Albania, Faisal bin Ghazi Hefzi, and representatives of the Presidency of the Islamic Union of North Macedonia.
Ambassador Hefzi, who also holds the position of non-resident ambassador to North Macedonia, was present on behalf of the Kingdom’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance.
Speaking to the media following the signing ceremony, Ambassador Hefzi emphasized the Kingdom’s unwavering support for initiatives that promote peace and prosperity among Muslims globally.
The historic event took place in the vibrant Macedonian capital, Skopje, and saw the participation of various government officials who were eager to witness the strengthening of ties between the two nations.
