The agreement was officially inked by Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, an esteemed adviser at the Saudi Royal Court and supervisor general of KSrelief, and Cindy McCain, the executive director of the WFP. This collaboration marks a pivotal moment in the efforts to alleviate the suffering of those in need.

A Lifeline Amidst Crisis

In the wake of Israel’s devastating onslaught on Gaza, Saudi Arabia wasted no time in launching a fundraising campaign through the national Sahem platform to provide critical support to Palestinians in distress. The Kingdom has gone above and beyond, organizing a total of 44 flights that have delivered over 800 tonnes of aid, including essential medical supplies, food provisions, and materials for emergency shelters. Additionally, six relief ships loaded with nearly 5,000 tonnes of similar relief supplies have been dispatched, along with the provision of 20 fully-equipped ambulances.

Continued Support for Palestinians

KSrelief is showing unwavering commitment to the cause, having sealed five agreements totaling $80 million with international organizations to extend ongoing assistance and support to Palestinians in Gaza. This solidarity and generosity are making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by conflict and crisis.
