Currently, there are 145 active exploration agreements in oil and gas in Egypt, with 40 partners on board, highlighting the country’s commitment to expanding its energy resources.

As of 2023, Egypt stands among the top five countries with the highest primary energy production and supply in Africa, churning out 29.8 million tonnes of energy, according to Statista data.
