Saudi Arabia Bans Visit Visa Holders from Entering Makkah During Hajj Season
In a recent announcement, the Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia has declared that visit visa holders will not be permitted to enter or remain in Makkah from May 23 to June 21. Access to the holy city during this time will be restricted to Hajj visa holders only.
The ministry has made it clear that visit visas do not grant individuals the right to perform Hajj pilgrimage. Violators of this regulation will face penalties in accordance with Saudi laws and regulations.
