Saudi Arabia’s Masam Project Dismantles 1,579 Explosive Devices in Yemen
In a recent report by the Saudi Press Agency, it was revealed that Saudi Arabia’s Masam Project, managed by its aid agency KSrelief, successfully dismantled 1,579 explosive devices across various governorates in Yemen between Sept. 28 and Oct. 4.
Among the devices disarmed were 1,442 unexploded ordnances, 126 anti-tank mines, six other devices, and five anti-personnel mines. This significant achievement brings the total number of explosive devices removed by the project to a staggering 465,252 since its inception.
The dedication of Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, to eliminating these dangers cannot be understated. These devices have already claimed the lives of many innocent civilians in Yemen, including children, women, and the elderly. It is crucial to continue the efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of the Yemeni people.
