Kuwait’s Prime Minister Visits Saudi Arabia
In a grand arrival, Kuwait’s prime minister, Sheikh Mohammed Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, landed in Jeddah on Thursday to kick off an official visit to the Kingdom.
Stepping off the plane at King Abdulaziz International Airport, he was warmly welcomed by the deputy governor of Makkah, Prince Saud bin Mishal, the Saudi ambassador to Kuwait, Prince Sultan bin Saad, and a host of other high-ranking officials, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
Joining the reception were the Kuwaiti ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Sabah Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and the country’s consul general in Jeddah, also serving as its permanent representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Mohammad Saud Al-Mutairi, according to the Kuwait News Agency.
