Supporting Vision 2030 and Giga-Projects

Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, aimed at diversifying the economy and improving quality of life, includes transformative projects like NEOM, the Red Sea Project, and Qiddiya. These giga-projects present engineering challenges that require rigorous safety protocols from the outset, highlighting the importance of NFPA’s role in promoting world-class safety standards.

Training and Collaboration

NFPA plans to collaborate with local entities to provide specialized training for engineers, inspectors, and installers in Saudi Arabia. By developing a skilled local workforce proficient in fire safety standards, the organization aims to create job opportunities and enhance technical capabilities in the region.

Global Impact and Collaboration

Pauley underscored the significance of Saudi Arabia’s giga-projects in setting new benchmarks for urban development and safety standards worldwide.
