Saudi Fund for Development Signs $14 Million Loan Agreement with Kosovo for Highway Project
In a groundbreaking move, CEO Sultan Al-Marshad of the Saudi Fund for Development has inked a development loan agreement totaling over $14 million with Kosovo’s Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murati in Kosovo.
The loan is earmarked for the much-needed financing of the Pristina-Mitrovica Highway Project, as confirmed by its official account.
This ambitious project aims to revolutionize infrastructure, revamp essential road services, and elevate road safety standards for the approximately 27,000 vehicles that travel along this route daily. Moreover, it is expected to generate employment opportunities and bolster social development efforts, according to a statement released by the fund.
