Saudi Cabinet Discusses Efforts to End War in Gaza and Support Peace in Yemen
In a meeting chaired by King Salman, the Saudi cabinet delved into the ongoing efforts by the Kingdom to bring an end to the war in Gaza and to bolster peace initiatives in Yemen.
Urging the international community and influential parties to step up and play a role in de-escalating tensions in the region, the Cabinet emphasized the importance of achieving security and stability.
Expressing solidarity with the International Court of Justice’s advisory opinion on the illegality of Israeli presence in the occupied Palestinian territories for the past 57 years, the Kingdom stressed the need for tangible steps towards a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, in alignment with the Arab Peace Initiative and international resolutions.
Furthermore, the Council of Ministers took stock of the latest updates in the national economy, pointing out the stable inflation rates that remain below global targets. This achievement was attributed to the robustness of the Kingdom’s economy and the effective measures implemented to curb rising global prices.
