Saudi Arabia Submits Bid to Host 2034 World Cup

In a bold move, the Saudi Cabinet has officially submitted Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the 2034 World Cup, showcasing the Kingdom’s determination to shine on the global stage in the world of sports.

Chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Cabinet emphasized that hosting the World Cup would be a testament to Saudi Arabia’s commitment to delivering an extraordinary rendition of this prestigious sporting event.

The bid was personally delivered to FIFA officials in Paris by a high-level delegation led by the Saudi Minister of Sports, Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, and the President of the Saudi Football Federation, Yasser Al-Misehal.

“In seeking to host the World Cup, we aim to create a groundbreaking edition that will bring together 48 teams for the first time in tournament history within a single country,” stated the Minister of Sports.
