During the conversation, the crown prince reiterated Saudi Arabia’s full support for the measures taken by Jordan to ensure its security and stability, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency. In return, the king expressed gratitude for the unwavering support from Saudi Arabia.
The two leaders emphasized the urgent need for a political resolution to the Palestinian crisis, emphasizing the importance of a two-state solution. This solution would pave the way for the establishment of an independent, sovereign Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, according to the Jordanian news agency Petra.
Furthermore, Prince Mohammed and King Abdullah took the opportunity to strengthen the bonds between their two nations. The king expressed his pride in the strong relationship between Jordan and Saudi Arabia, affirming his commitment to enhancing cooperation across all sectors, Petra reported.
