Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs meets with Syrian Minister of Awqaf in Makkah
In a historic meeting in the heart of Makkah, Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Asheikh sat down with Syrian Minister of Awqaf Dr. Mohammad Abdul-Sattar Al-Sayyed and his delegation on Sunday.
Al-Sayyed showered praise on the Kingdom’s tireless efforts in serving Islam and Muslims, including the revered Two Holy Mosques and other sacred sites, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
He further emphasized that the ongoing Conference of Ministers of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Makkah, scheduled until Aug. 5, would play a crucial role in advancing Islamic advocacy and fostering a spirit of coexistence, cooperation, and interdependence among nations.
