Saudi King Salman Expresses Condolences to Kuwait Emir After Deadly Fire

In response to the tragic fire that claimed the lives of many in Kuwait, King Salman of Saudi Arabia reached out to Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah with a heartfelt message of condolence and sympathy.

Expressing his sorrow, the king stated, “We learned of the news of the outbreak of a fire in the Mangaf region, and the deaths and injuries that resulted from it, and we send to Your Highness, to the families of the deceased, and to the brotherly people of the State of Kuwait, our warmest and most sincere condolences.”

He also extended his wishes for a speedy recovery to those who were injured in the tragic incident, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also joined in expressing his condolences, sending messages to both the emir and Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah.

The Kuwaiti government confirmed that forty-nine people lost their lives in the fire that engulfed a building housing nearly 200 foreign workers. The blaze, which started in the early hours of the morning in a six-story building south of Kuwait City, also left many others injured, according to the health ministry.
