Saudi Ministers Sign Cooperation Agreement to Boost Culture and Arts Sectors

In a groundbreaking move, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, and the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi, joined forces on Monday by signing a cooperation agreement with the ambitious goal of advancing their respective objectives.

The agreement aims to not only enhance human capital within the culture and arts sectors but also to foster the development of the local cultural identity, stimulate economic growth, create job opportunities, and promote social development. Additionally, the agreement seeks to establish a legislative and regulatory framework that will encourage investment and innovation in the cultural sector.

This partnership is anticipated to generate increased economic activity and pave the way for new job opportunities, aligning with the objectives outlined in Saudi Vision 2030, according to a report by the Saudi Press Agency.

As part of the agreement, the two ministries will collaborate on exploring strategies to incentivize and facilitate private sector involvement in the advancement of the culture and arts sectors.
