Hajj Security Forces Crack Down on Illegal Pilgrims

In a swift and decisive move, Hajj security forces stationed at entrances to Makkah apprehended six individuals on Sunday for attempting to transport a group of 52 people without proper permits to perform Hajj.

The violators, consisting of one resident and five citizens, were handed a 15-day prison sentence and fined SR10,000 ($2,665) for each illegal pilgrim they tried to transport. Additionally, the vehicles used in the illegal transportation were seized by the Ministry of Interior.

Residents caught violating Hajj regulations face deportation as a consequence. The Ministry of Interior has issued a stern warning to all citizens and residents to strictly adhere to Hajj regulations to ensure the safety, comfort, and peace of mind of pilgrims during their sacred journey.
