Breaking News: Saudi Ministry Greenlights Turtle Bay Hospital Plans!

Red Sea Global Making Waves with Turtle Bay Hospital Project

In a major development, Red Sea Global, the mastermind behind The Red Sea and AMAALA regenerative tourism projects, has announced significant progress on its Turtle Bay Hospital initiative.

Setting the Bar for World-Class Healthcare

Situated in The Red Sea’s Turtle Bay area, the hospital is poised to offer top-notch medical services to residents, workers, and visitors of the massive 1.5 million sq m waterfront site.

Anticipating a Bright Future

With the first phase of resorts set to be completed next year, The Red Sea is gearing up to welcome around 300,000 guests annually. Additionally, Turtle Bay is projected to become the residence for approximately 14,000 employees and their families, all of whom will have access to high-quality healthcare services.

Approval from the Ministry of Health

Red Sea Global has recently received the green light from the Ministry of Health for the design of Turtle Bay Hospital, making it the first Public Investment Fund-funded project to secure such approval. This marks a significant milestone for the project, according to a statement by RSG.

Commitment to Excellence

Nicholas King, the group’s chief development officer at RSG, expressed excitement over the approval, highlighting the team’s dedication to providing top-tier healthcare services at The Red Sea. The vision for Turtle Bay Hospital is to create a cutting-edge facility as part of a broader strategy to establish a robust healthcare ecosystem for the project portfolio.

Future-Proofing Medical Services

The hospital at The Red Sea will feature a hyperbaric chamber in its emergency department, ensuring world-class treatment for diving incidents and barotrauma-related injuries. Plans for the Red Sea International Airport Clinic have also received Ministry of Health approval, with construction on track for full operational capability by December this year.

Looking Ahead to AMAALA

Construction has already commenced on a hospital within AMAALA’s staff village, with completion expected by late 2025. By 2030, The Red Sea will boast 50 resorts, 8,000 hotel rooms, over 1,000 residential properties, luxury marinas, golf courses, entertainment venues, and more, solidifying its position as a premier destination for luxury and leisure.
