Saudi Stock Market Update: Tadawul All Share Index Closes Lower

In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share Index closed at 12,465.98 points on Wednesday, marking a decrease of 34.45 points or 0.28 percent. The parallel market, Nomu, on the other hand, saw a gain of 92.53 points or 0.35 percent, closing at 26,401.91.

MSCI Tadawul 30 Index Sees Slight Decline

The MSCI Tadawul 30 Index also experienced a slight decline of 9.29 points or 0.59 percent, concluding at 1,569.13. The main index generated a trading value of SR9.5 billion ($2.55 billion), with 96 stocks advancing and 131 declining.

Top Performers and Underperformers in the Market

Ash-Sharqiyah Development Co. emerged as the top performer on TASI, with its share price surging by 9.95 percent to SR21.44. Batic Investments and Logistics Co. followed closely with a jump of 9.27 percent, closing at SR2.83. Saudi Ground Services Co. also showed strong performance, climbing 9.09 percent to SR58.80.

On the flip side, Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair Co. recorded the most significant dip, declining by 5.16 percent to SR11.40. Astra Industrial Group, Etihad Etisalat Co., Saudi Chemical Co., and Saudi Real Estate Co. also reported notable losses.

Nomu Market Highlights

In the Nomu market, Future Care Trading Co. stood out as the top performer with a 10.68 percent jump to SR9.64. Ladun Investment Co., Mayar Holding Co., Lana Medical Co., and Al-Modawat Specialized Medical Co. also fared well.

Conversely, Alqemam for Computer Systems Co. was the worst performer on Nomu, declining by 9.72 percent to SR90.10. Saudi Parts Center Co. and Clean Life Co. also experienced setbacks in the market.
