Riyadh’s Generosity Shines: Over SR1.268 Billion Donated to Ehsan Platform

In a remarkable show of charity and goodwill, more than SR1.268 billion ($338 million) has been donated to the fourth National Platform for Charitable Work, known as Ehsan, since its launch on the fifth day of Ramadan.

Royal Contributions Lead the Way

The benevolent King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman set the tone for giving with their generous donations of SR40 million and SR30 million respectively on the first day.

Impactful Donations Make a Difference

A staggering 3,148,205 donations have been recorded in the first 10 days of Ramadan, benefiting over 1.26 million individuals across various charity and development sectors such as education, social work, health, food, housing, and Ehsan endowments.

Continued Support Needed

The campaign will continue to accept donations through the Ehsan platform throughout Ramadan, a month that encourages Muslims to engage in acts of charity and kindness.

The Ehsan platform welcomes contributions from individuals, companies, institutions, donors, and the financially privileged through its website and app at https://ehsan.sa, donor service center number 8001247000, and dedicated bank accounts.

A Symbol of Unity and Support

Established by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority under a royal decree, the Ehsan platform is governed by a supervisory committee comprising representatives from 13 government agencies. Since its inception, the platform has received over SR6.3 billion in donations, benefiting more than 4.8 million individuals through 113 million transactions.
