Saudi Arabia Makes Strides in Technology Integration
In a recent official report, it has been revealed that Saudi Arabia’s government agencies have shown a remarkable 10 percent improvement in integrating new technologies compared to the previous year.
The Emerging Technology Adoption Readiness Index, which evaluates the progress of government entities in implementing innovative solutions, has surged from 60.35 percent in 2023 to 70.70 percent in 2024. This increase is accompanied by a significant growth in the number of participating agencies, which has risen from 13 last year to 35 in 2024, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
The annual report released by the Digital Government Authority highlights the Kingdom’s enhanced capability in adopting emerging technologies. This advancement plays a crucial role in Saudi Arabia’s overarching transformation strategy, which aims to utilize cutting-edge systems to enhance services for citizens, residents, and visitors.
The rise in the index underscores the Kingdom’s steadfast dedication to modernizing its digital infrastructure and aligns with its Vision 2030 goals, focusing on sustainable development and the progression of its technological landscape.
